The vertical lathes of the W 32 séries are designed for the machining of wheels with a nominal diameter of up to 24.5", such as the ones used on trucks. This lathe is available in two versions, each with either two or four axes: the two axes W32-T2 and the four axes W32-T4 for turning only; the two axes W32-TM2 and the four axes W32-TM4 for turning and drilling. The availability of a semi-automatic pallet loading System on thèse machines allows them to exécute, in séquence of one another, two turning operations-such as lst + 2nd OP, as well as lst + lst and/or 2nd + 2nd, etc. The 15 kW drilling head available in the TM model allows for the complète machining of wheels, including the valve and stud hole drilling.
