All OBS PF models include single cylinder, C-Frame design which provides for three-sided accessibility to the work area, suitable for diversified short-run applications as well as high production work. Specifically, the OBS (Open Back Stationary) PF design consists of a single cylinder down-acting design; 8 point (long, square type, adjustable) non-metallic gibbing for superior accuracy/rigidity; one-piece welded frame/box bed construction; removable slide and bed bolsters; and a high speed, air/oil cooled hydraulic package with full tonnage supplied throughout the stroke.
