It was also required that it be possible to produce loads which require different treatment parameters continuously. Since 1992, the ICBP have made it possible to take up this challenge. Moreover the modularity and the flexibility of this innovative equipment considerably improved productivity by taking into account just-in-time production. The technical performance of our installations also brings better mechanical and geometric qualities to the treated parts. The ICBP have led to a very significant reduction of heat treatments costs. Flexibility makes the difference With ECM modular installations, the greatest flexibility in use is assured. The ICBP modularity makes it possible to carry out several different treatments within the same installation, thanks to the compatibility of the various cells: Gas or electric heating high temperature heating cells Austenitizing, annealing. Low-pressure carburizing and carbonitriding Brazing Etc. Convection heating low temperature heating cells Preheating under neutral gas Preoxidation Tempering Nitriding Etc Quenching cells Single-flow or multi-flow high-pressure gas quenching Oil quenching. The addition of extra treatment cells on an existing installation makes it possible to increase the productive capacity of the ICBP at a very low cost and to widen the spectrum of possible treatments. What is more, the ICBP concept allows to carry out this operation in a very limited time. The transfer cart The transfer cart we offer you today is the result of many years of experience: High speed transfer time Heat insulation of the load Protective mechanical conception The most recent encoders and sensors…… allow to guarantee the quenching quality of the most demanding loads with a maximum availability factor Ex: diesel injection nozzles, high speed steel saw blade etc. Infracarb a recognized industrial solution Infarcarb, ECM’s patented process of low-pressure carburizing, revolutionized the world of industrial heat treatments. Today, this process still is a reference and offers the following advantages: No intercrystalling oxidizing Perfectly controlled and reproducible carburizing depths with narrow tolerances Ability to provide a choice of the surface carbon content Improvement of wear resistance The process can use either gas or oil quenching Reduced treatment time Possibility to select the type of carburizing gas. ICBP advantages Flexibility Easy to operate in machine shops Continuous production of loads with different treatment parameters Production begins only 30 min after starting the installation Possibility to walk in the installation for maintenance 4 hours after the process has terminated Reduction in operating expenses by using only the necessary heating cells.
